2024 HLPOA Annual General Meeting June 18th 7:00-9:00pm

  • 18 Jun 2024
  • 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • AGM is virtual this year on ZOOM!

Our Annual General Meeting will be virtual this year using the ZOOM online platform.  We again have chosen to hold the meeting on a weeknight to be respectful of our members' busy weekend schedules and to possibly allow improved access to better internet service.

HLPOA members and their families may attend the meeting.  So that we can plan our ZOOM meeting we ask that when registering in the number of guests field you indicate how many additional ZOOM logins you may need beyond the one for the voting member. If you are all sharing one screen, that would equal no guests.

Notice of Meeting information will be published on June 1, 2024 and will be available to download off the members area of our website. Only business detailed in the Notice of Meeting package will be able to be transacted at the meeting. An email notification will go out to all members when this information is available for download.

Registered Members will receive email notification and details of how to join the meeting by June 17th, 2024.

Voting on motions will be held during this meeting using the ZOOM polling functions and we ask that only voting members respond to polling questions when called for a vote.

There will also be an opportunity to submit questions during the meeting which we will endeavour to answer either during or following the meeting.

We've successfully held our AGM virtually for the last several years and we believe that we can hold an efficient meeting with valuable content for our members.

We hope you'll be able to attend.

The HLPOA acknowledge the lands and waters on which we meet, are the traditional homelands of the First Nation, Métis and Inuit peoples. Our beautiful lakes are fed from the north and flow to the south. We therefore acknowledge the Algonquin and Mississauga peoples as well as the governance of the Williams Treaties. We wish to express gratitude to Mother Earth, the resources we are using, and honour all Indigenous people who have been and continue to live on these lands.

Horseshoe Lake Property Owners association is committed to fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion in which every member, their family and friends are treated with respect and dignity.
